College hosts orientation session for dual credit students

Some 130 high school students from Meridian Public School District, Lauderdale County School District, Pentecostal Christian Academy, Russell Christian Academy, and homeschool got to experience Meridian Community College’s Dual Credit Orientation.

“With orientation, students can check out our campus but also learn of all the support available,” said Katie Barrett, MCC dual education coordinator.

Members of the College’s recruiting team, the Ivy League Recruiters, assisted in the day’s activities, which included talks by Dr. Chad Graham, Erin Richardson, Kelli Wallace, Mandy Hurtt, and Brandon Dewease.
