Dimensions: Making music for campus and community

MCC Dimensions

Meridian Community College's music ensemble, the Dimensions, will return to the McCain Theater stage on Thursday, March 30, for its highly anticipated annual spring concert as a part of the College's Arts & Letters Series.

The concert, which begins at 7 p.m., promises to be a night full of incredible music and entertainment, showcasing the talents of MCC's gifted musicians. Admission is free of charge.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Dimensions, and to celebrate, the Dimensions will perform music from songbooks past, including classic rock and Motown. “Each member was given a song from the past to perform. These were all arranged instrumentally by our technical director, Daniel Boles, and taught vocally by me,” said Tammy Miles, artistic director. Also leading the students is Mitch Brantley, instrumental director.

Members of the Dimensions are Maggie Freeman, Mackenzie Robinson, Michaela Acord, Miracle Brock, Anna Grayson, Patrick Martin, Brett Gordon, Zet Mirabueno, Jaiden Harris, Peyton Parker, and Cur’Sandra Gowdy.

This event is an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents and for the community to come together and enjoy a night of entertainment.
