Step into a fairy tale: Arts & Letters presents ‘Cinderella’

The fairy tale magic of Cinderella will come to life on Meridian Community College’s McCain Theater stage when “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Youth Edition,” is presented by Take One and Stage 2 in connection with the College’s Arts & Letters Series. 

The production is on Saturday, Feb. 10, and Sunday, Feb. 11, with the curtain at 3 p.m. Tickets can be obtained by going to meridiancc.edu/tickets. 

In this specially created Youth Edition, all the beloved songs and familiar characters are present and accounted for, including the songs, “Ten Minutes Ago” and “Impossible.”  

Portraying the principal characters are Avery Agent, Queen; Travis Boston and Jareth Tanner, Herald; Maddox Davis, Prince; Magnolia Lauderdale, Joy; Jesse Mixon, King; Olivia Nutt, Portia; Elizabeth Simpson, Cinderella; Cooper Tibbetts, Godmother, and Allie Wyman, Stepmother. 

Also performing in this musical are Cambree Allen, Kinsley Allen, Anna Armstrong, Elijah Ash, Abby Kate Battle, Haley Beckham, Cadence Bradley, Elizabeth Crudup, ME Dial, Charlotte Dues, Abbie Ellis, Reese Gressett, Anne Gianakos, Sadie Hoffman, Alyana Jensen, Reylan Jensen, Ja’Miyah Kersh, Maggie Martin, Kinsley Meador, Mann Mitchell, Elizabeth Rose Pollard, Isabel Polson, LaDarius Ransom, Aubrey Sample, Eli Simpson, Nathaniel Simpson, Samuel Simpson, Rhiannon Tanner, Hailey Truman, Adelaide Walker, Wyatt Walker, Jackson Ward, Jake Weir, Martha Kate White, Mary Frances White, and Madison Worthy.
