Student spotlight: Cade Griffin

Cade GriffinMeridian Community College student, Cade Griffin.

Thanks to Meridian Community College, Cade Griffin, a 22-year-old health major from Philadelphia, is getting a fresh start.

Spring Semester 2023 is his first term at MCC. When he initially began his college career, he admits he wasn’t focused on his studies. "I had a lot of personal stuff in my life that messed my head up a little bit. But now I've got my head on straight. I wanted a fresh start."

So, he came to MCC and is making great strides. A full-time student who’s earning high grades, Griffin also works part-time at a gym and physical fitness center in his hometown. He is determined to become a physical therapist assistant. “I've worked at a gym for the last four years, and I think PTA will be something I would enjoy, Griffin said.

"I like helping people," he added.

Griffin credits his MCC instructors as being helpful with his new start.

"I’m ready to get my life in order," he added.
