MCC Associate Degree Nursing Program Applications Due Sept. 15

Meridian Community College is accepting applications for its Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program and its ADN Accelerated Program for LPNs and Paramedics through Monday, Sept. 15. Students admitted will begin classes in Spring 2026.

The ADN program prepares students for careers as registered nurses by combining classroom instruction with hands-on clinical training in local healthcare facilities. Students gain experience in a variety of areas, including medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health, and mental health. The Associate Degree Nursing Accelerated Program for Licensed Practical Nurses and Paramedics is designed to move LPNs and Paramedics through four semesters of nursing in three semesters of study.

Graduates of the programs are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), the required step to becoming a licensed registered nurse.

“Our program provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in nursing,” said Dr. Lara Collum, associate vice president for nursing and health care education at MCC. “We are proud of our graduates and their impact on the healthcare community.”

Applicants must meet specific academic and program requirements to be considered for admission.
