Seven adult detention officers from the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department received their certificates after completing 96 hours in the Adult Detention Officer Training Program at Meridian Community College.
The 5K run and walk, one-mile fun run, and Survivor Street Strut will be Saturday, Oct. 19, with all activities beginning at 8 a.m. at the Meridian Community College Track.
MCC earned Honor Roll recognition in seven key areas: Professional Development, Mission and Pride, Supervisor/Department Chair Effectiveness, Confidence in Senior Leadership, Faculty and Staff Well-being, Shared Governance, and Faculty Experience.
