Being motivated at work can mean different things to many people; for Desi Leeper, making sure that others know the great things Meridian Community College has to offer drives her.
As the recipient of the humanities accolade, Jade Parkes will present to the public his lecture, "Before Green Eggs, Grinches, or Cats in Hats: An Examination of the World War II-Era Works of Dr. Seuss," on Friday, Feb. 16.
Kassi Rushing led the discussion, Behaviors of Inclusive Leadership and Growing an Engaged Team, during her presentation to a Meridian Community College Eagle Leadership Convocation (ELC) Class session.
Helping - even empowering - others, whether students or college colleagues - drives Taylor Stokes, Meridian Community College's junior programmer and data analyst.
"I am honored by this recognition and will work very hard to live up to the expectations associated with such an honor. I am so proud of our PTK organization here at MCC and the students, faculty, and staff who work hard to make it successful," said Dr. Huebner.
