Maggie Freeman's journey to MCC wasn't a straight path, but it has been one where destiny has played a role. She received her AAS degree from MCC on Friday during the College's Spring 2023 commencement.
"MCC was worth it. I use what I learned there today and every day. The instruction I received prepared me for life and the work and job duties I do today. And it helped me be successful," Boone said.
Tammy Miles, MCC choral and Dimensions director, organized the reunion event in which more than 100 gathered to celebrate that legacy and the impact that Dimensions has had on their lives.
The Meridian Community College Dimensions will host a 20-year reunion on April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Mississippi State University Meridian Riley Center.
Each year, MCC honors a group of servant-leaders who have distinguished themselves in their professions and community service with the Hall of Fame award. The ceremony gets underway at 2 p.m. in the McCain Theater.
