Cost of Attendance

Federal law requires all schools to calculate an estimated average cost of attendance (COA) for one academic year. The cost of attendance, or annual student budget, is not the actual price you will pay - it is an estimate of expenses you might encounter while attending MCC.

COA figures are used to calculate your financial aid eligibility. It includes costs that are billed such as tuition & fees, housing & food, and estimates other expenses such as books & supplies, transportation, and other miscellaneous expenses. Actual costs may differ from the figures below depending on your program, coursework, residency and enrollment status, and personal spending choices. If you do not receive financial aid, you can still use the charts below to estimate your costs.

The total amount of financial aid offered to a student, including all scholarships and grants, cannot exceed the cost of attendance at MCC for that aid year. Financial aid such as loans, work study, scholarships, or grants may be reduced for students whose total aid exceeds the cost of attendance.
