WHAT IS ACADEMIC DUAL ENROLLMENT?
Academic Dual Enrollment is a program that offers high school juniors and seniors
the opportunity to enroll in general education classes at MCC while still in high
school. Students may take any academic classes offered at MCC or online, given that
they meet all requirements.
* These classes are charged at full price tuition and do not award high school credit.
For discounted classes that award high school credit, see Academic Dual Credit or CTE Dual Credit.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- Be classified as a high school junior or senior as documented by an official high school transcript
- Have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA
- Have taken the ACT or Accuplacer prior to enrolling in classes

- Complete the 3 steps below and we will take care of the rest!

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Many classes have additional Inclusive Access Materials Fees that cover course materials,
textbooks, etc. Please refer to the MCC Business Office Tuition and Fees Schedule, or contact MCC for more information.
- Some courses have minimum ACT or ACCUPLACER score requirements:
- English Comp: 17 English subscore
- College Algebra: 19 Math subscore
- Anatomy & Physiology: 16 Composite score
- Public Speaking: 17 Composite score (or have passed English Comp 1 with a C or higher)
- Applying for Academic Dual Enrollment does not guarantee entrance to the program. Students must meet all requirements and complete the entire application process to be enrolled.
