- Lock all doors and windows if safe to do so.
- Turn off lights and close blinds or curtains if safe to do so.
- Stay in a classroom or office.
- Silence TVs, cellphones, and other electronics.
- Remain indoors and under lockdown until you receive an all-clear alert.
- Listen to your instructor, an employee or campus police on where to go for evacuation.
- To find the location of your evacuation rally point, please consult the sign posted in the nearest classroom.
- Do not use the elevator.
- Do not enter the building until given an all-clear alert.
- Yell for help.
- Call 911 and Campus Police.
- If CPR is needed and you are trained, perform CPR.
- Do not allow the person to move until emergency personnel arrive at the scene.
- Weather alerts will be announced via social media and website
- Go to the nearest building or your DESIGNATED SHELTER IN PLACE
- Signs with designated shelter in place locations are also posted in classrooms.
