No. If you are currently enrolled in classes, you will only need to speak to your advisor to sign up for classes for next semester, when registration is available. Check with your advisor to find out upcoming or current registration dates.

  • If you're currently enrolled, you can change your program of study by speaking with your advisor. Submitting a new application is not necessary.

  • Currently enrolled students can request to change their program of study on Eaglenet by submitting a request under the "Student" tab in the "YOUR Current Major" section. This will send a message to your academic advisor, and they will reach out to you by email or phone.

  • No. Our competitive healthcare programs don't have a separate application process. If you indicated your chosen competitive healthcare program on your original application as your program of study, you have also applied to be accepted to that program. If you're not sure or don't remember which program of study you chose on your application for admission, you can check with your advisor.

  • If you want to change from your current program of study to one of our competitive healthcare programs (or any of our other programs of study), you only need to speak with your advisor.

If you have 15 or more transferable college credits, you do not have to submit your high school or high school equivalency transcript and test scores for general admission.

Keep in my mind, our career and technical programs may still require test scores for program selection.

Yes. All previous official college transcripts are required for admission.

You may submit test scores one of three ways:

  • Directly through your student account at act.org or sat.org. Scores are typically available to us the next business day through ACT.

  • From your high school transcript. Be sure to ask your counselor to provide scores on the copy of your transcript when requesting.

  • If you have a personal copy, you may scan and email it to admissions@meridiancc.edu, bring it in person and we can make a copy of it, or fax it to 601.484.8838.

The Accuplacer is a placement exam that is offered at MCC. Many students consider this exam if they have not taken the ACT or SAT or need to achieve a higher score for course placement or program selection. Scores do not transfer from one institution to another unlike ACT/SAT and are available immediately after testing.

Before scheduling a testing appointment, students must be complete an Application for Admission or be currently enrolled.

You may call the Office of Admissions at 601.483.8241 to schedule an appointment or email admissions@meridiancc.edu. If you choose to email, please include your full name, date of birth, and current phone number.

MCC is an open enrollment institution. There is no minimum test score requirement for general admission. Our career and technical programs may require minimum scores for program selection.

If you have attended a non-accredited high school, we encourage students to consider our high school equivalency programs through our Adult Education Department. You may call 601.484.8796 or email adulteducation@meridiancc.edu for more information.
