LIFTOFF is a one-day event designed to help you get to know the MCC campus, find your classrooms,
meet our staff, and much more! This event replaces our traditional "orientation" process.
Now you can attend Liftoff after you have been admitted as a student, but before you
have even registered for classes! Join us for Liftoff to start your journey!
Anyone new to MCC, who has already been admitted to the college.
We have 5 different Liftoff events that you can attend:
- MAY 25
- JUNE 27
- JULY 13
- JULY 20
- AUGUST 10

Liftoff is designed to beef up your "College Knowledge" so you know how things work here at MCC. You will:
- Check in at the McCain Theater.
- Attend a campus life fair and talk with representatives from the Eagle's Nest Bookstore, Aladdin Food Services (our cafeteria), Accessibility Support Services, and the Success Center.
- Find your advisor.
- Go find your classrooms, either on the main campus or at the Workforce Development
Center.
- Get your Student ID and Parking Decal after registering for your classes.
STEP 1: Get admitted to MCC! Visit meridiancc.edu/admissions and choose your student type to get started. We will need:
- A Fall 2023 Admissions Application
- Your transcripts (high school, college, or GED)
- Your ACT or Accuplacer test scores
STEP 2: Meet with your advisor to register for classes!
No, there isn't a limit! You can bring whomever you would like. There will be a special break-out session for parents and guardians.
