The Eagle is operated by Media Production Technology students in cooperation with
the MCC Production Center. The studio and sales offices are housed on campus in the
L.O. Todd Library. The Transmitter is located on Highway 45 South in Meridian.
Meridian Community College is a public institution of higher learning dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents of Lauderdale County and its surrounding area.
On April 12, 2022, Meridian Community College Foundation, licensee of radio station
WEXR-FM, 106.9 MHZ, Stonewall, Mississippi, filed an application with the Federal
Communications Commission for assignment of the station’s broadcast license to Meridian
Media Group, LLC. Members of the public wishing to view this application or obtain
information about how to file comments and petitions on the application can visit publicfiles.fcc.gov, and search in the station’s public file.
