Description:
The Hemodialysis RN is responsible for the direct nursing care and hemodialysis treatments
on all assigned patients within the chronic hemodialysis unit; as a Team Leader, is
responsible for the supervision of designated staff members; assists as needed with
patient care and serves in a professional manner with emphasis on quality care. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing; one
year of dialysis experience preferred; current registration with the Mississippi Board
of Nursing; ability to use a variety of physical motions in day-to-day activity including
standing, turning, bending, stooping, lifting and climbing; ability to stand and walk
for extended periods of time without experiencing fatigue; flexible to role changes
when assigned to function as Team Leader or Staff RN; willingness to function as Charge
Nurse when designated by Nursing Supervisor, Clinical Director, or Dialysis Administrator;
ability to provide nursing care on assigned patients and to handle/direct problems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established
procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake
and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate
or assign repairs.
Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions new parts.
Performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated
with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Assists senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and
performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Experience: Two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and must have a clean driving record.
